If you want to expand your LinkedIn network, consider changing “Connect” to “Follow” on your profile.
Why? 🤔
Because many people are still unsure of what “connecting” on LinkedIn really means.
Some people won’t connect unless they actually know the other person. For others, the idea of “connecting” implies some type of commitment.
But we “follow” people on social media all the time. It’s second nature.
𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀: When you choose this option, a “Follow” button will appear on every post your make in the newsfeed. And if you’re posting on a regular basis, your network can grow quickly!🔥

Reminder: When a person follows you, they will see your content, but you won’t see theirs unless you follow back.
Here’s how: 👨🏫
⤍ Go to Settings & Privacy.
⤍ On the left, click Visibility.
⤍ Scroll to the bottom of the page and set Followers to “Everyone on LinkedIn” and enable “Make Follow Primary”.
That’s it. 🙌

So, which do you prefer? Connect or follow? Join the discussion on my LinkedIn post!
