My Career with Ducks Unlimited
From 2002 to 2021, I had the absolute privilege of leading the Ducks Unlimited Digital Media & Marketing Team in support of our conservation mission. Our team was responsible for crafting the overall digital marketing and fundraising strategy, managing the organizational website, social media, email marketing and mobile app development. We utilized all of these tools and channels in order to strengthen and extend the reach of the DU brand, position the organization as the authority for waterfowl hunting and wetland conservation resources and generate revenue through online giving, memberships and advertising.
The Digital Media & Marketing Team

I was blessed to work among an extraordinary group of professionals who make up the Digital Media & Marketing team. These folks are the best in the industry and have made monumental contributions to the organization in the last 19 years. The crew is listed below, so be sure to click each name and follow them on LinkedIn. Be sure to follow #DucksUnlimitedDigital as well in order to view posts related to our projects and lessons we learn along the way.

In addition to my team, I was also surrounded by outstanding partners across the organization, including staff in communications, fundraising, conservation and IT. We were also proud to work with thousands of dedicated volunteers across the country. These volunteers are the backbone of our organization and are some of the best people you’ll ever meet.
Podcast Interview: Anthony Jones
Here’s a recent podcast where I explain more about our digital marketing program and tools for duck hunters.

Finding Purpose: Interview with Anthony Jones I recently had the privilege of being interviewed by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) for an article in their Nonprofit Journal. The article, written by Anne Field and titled: “Finding Purpose“, focused on how rewarding it can be to work in the non-profit industry. Click here to read the full interview. | ![]() |
